I just found ievms and wanted to share this with anyone who wants to run this on OS X. With ievms you can run any Internet Explorer version (and Edge) on your machien for debugging purposes. It will take around 47 GB of disk space depending on the browsers you want to run. Checkout their documentation if you want to skip certain versions.

  1. Download and install the extension pack from VirtualBox. This will fail when you use the installation command since it is unable to accept the license.
  2. Install unrar:
    brew install unar
  3. Run the installation command:
    curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/xdissent/ievms/master/ievms.sh | bash
  4. You are done! Enjoy!
